This weekend brings the 6th annual Bite of Bend festival. Information from the website:
The Bite exceeded everyone’s expectations last year with an estimated 20,000 attendee’s; we expect that number to grow in 2008 Due to the great attendance, we were able to raise a substantial amount of money for local charities.

Just a friendly reminder that the 3rd Annual Bend Winterfest takes place in February, which brought in over 40,000 visitors last year! These events benefit charities and have raised over $20,000 so far. This year’s beneficiary is Girls Go Outside. Girls Go Outside will benefit by receiving 20% of all of the button sales from the event. From the Bend Winterfest website:

This was given to us by the OAPERI, located in Bend, Oregon. We have found it very informative, and so therefore decided to put up the info here as part of a series (”Buy, Rent or lease option?”).
For more useful Real Estate info in Bend, go to their site:

Making the choice of how you want to control property and create wealth can be a difficult decision. It is, however, one that has to be made at some point as you consider whether to rent or own property.
