Recap of Bend / Redmond events this weekend (Oct 19 - 21)
The weekend is here! The weather looks a bit chilly and perhaps a little rainy… but that’s not to say there are any activities to do this weekend in the Bend & Redmond areas. Here are some ideas:
- As we covered earlier, if it’s not rainy (or if it is, if that’s your thing…) visiting the local pumpkin patch is a must before Halloween
- Attend a “How to Go Solar” workshop. It looks like there are three different workshops going on this weekend. More information can be found at the Solar Oregon website.
- Saturday evening there is “A Night for the Children” benefit. Sounds like a great event for wonderful cause. The event is taking place at Summer’s Flooring and Design, which is located on 63870 Clausen Road, from 6:00 - 9:30pm. There’s a $5 entry fee which gets you admission as well as a hot beverage & tasty desserts from Makahna’s Trattoria. All of the proceeds are going to go to building a secondary school for AIDS victims in Uganda.
Have a great weekend!
