Live Well in a WoodHill Home

It‘s not just a home, it’s a way of life.

At Woodhill Homes we recognize that a house reflects the personality and philosophy of its occupants, and that a neighborhood represents a community of likeminded homeowners. Unfortunately the traditional housing market makes it difficult for environmentally conscious buyers to find entry level and mid-range homes, much less whole neighborhoods, built according to the principles of sustainability. That’s where we come in. Beginning with a vision of changing the real estate experience, we’ve incorporated our values of integrity and responsibility into tangible features. Now it’s possible to find affordable, eco-friendly homes right here in your community.

  • Built to Last - ‘Future Proofing’

With every home we aim to do more with less, in order to conserve precious resources such as water and electricity. Inside, Woodhill Homes are equipped with low-flow fixtures and Energy Star® appliances. Outside, the landscaping for the front yard allows for efficient irrigation, and the double-pane windows are constructed so as to permit little heat from escaping the house on a cold winter’s day in Oregon. Speaking of windows, there are lots of them to bring in as much daylight as possible. This not only reduces the need for artificial lighting, but gives your body its much-needed dose of sunlight, expands the interior perspective of the home, and displays beautiful views of the surrounding neighborhood and landscape. Lastly, the entire house is insulated with blown-in insulation, which eliminates gaps in the building envelope.

  • Energy Efficiency

All of our homes are Energy Star® certified.

Wanted to let you know that I just had an independent energy audit sponsored by the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance. My Woodhill Home rated very high. In fact the inspector noted that of 20 new homes he had tested in Bend, mine was the tightest in infiltration leakage. It also rated extremely well in minimal duct leakage.
    Thank you, Woodhill.

We separate ourselves from the competition at this price point because we understand that a house should not simply shelter you and provide you with essential utilities. It should also fit harmoniously within the local environment, use energy resources efficiently, and contribute to your physical and mental wellbeing. Accordingly, we make sure that every Woodhill Home creates a healthy, low-impact atmosphere in which you can sleep, eat, work, and play, without worrying that the house doesn’t meet your current (and future) needs.

  • Air Quality

We choose building materials and methods to minimize the release of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The air you breathe inside your home should be of the highest quality. In Woodhill Homes you’ll find real hardwood and tile flooring; kitchen cabinets made of wood, stainless steel appliances; and low-VOC exterior paint. But you can’t benefit from uncontaminated air unless you’re able to keep it inside the house. That’s why our homes rate high in airtightness, while employing a high efficiency ventilation system.

  • Aesthetically Pleasing Design

We go to great lengths to blend modern and traditional designs: keeping the house compact but roomy; visually enhancing spaces with color and texture; varying the style and dimensions of ceilings, walls, and windows. We’re always thinking of ways to innovate and improve.

  • It’s All Within Reach

Woodhill homeowners can be confident in the health and resource efficiency of their homes. This confidence enriches family life by creating a snug, secure home, and bolsters community by bringing people together who share the same dreams. So if you once believed that sustainable living was out of your reach, please get in touch with us. You could be walking through the front door of your dream sooner than you think!
